  • What facilities are available at the Park for events?
    • The Park has neither water nor electrical hookups available for use. For any use of electricity, a rented generator is required.
    • The Park does not have bathrooms on the premises. Nearby ADA-Accessible public bathrooms are located at Southpoint Park.
    • There is limited street parking on Roosevelt Island and no parking at the State Park.

    • From intimate dinners of twelve to 1,450 seated guests, the Park is flexible depending on your vision.

  • Can Four Freedoms Park Conservancy provide any rentals?
    • No, FFPC does not provide rentals. Any rentals (tables, chairs, stage, A/V, etc.) must be obtained from third-party vendors.

  • Is amplified sound allowed?
    • Yes, amplified sound under 80 decibels is allowed.

  • What does it cost?
    • Rental fees to FFPC depend on the date, size of the event, and extent of Park use.
      • Wedding ceremony-only fees start at $10,000. For full wedding ceremonies with seated or cocktail receptions, the rental fee schedule typically starts at $25,000.
      • Corporate, fashion, and marketing event rate sheets are available upon request.

  • Are there any additional requirements?
    • Proof of Insurance (COI) – All groups renting the Park, and all of their vendors, must provide COI’s with specific language to be provided by FFPC.
    • All required permissions are provided by NYS Parks and obtained through Four Freedoms Park Conservancy. There are no additional permitting fees.

  • Inclement weather plan:
    • FFPC strongly suggests that any plans include a tented area (tents are available from third-party vendors) as the Park has no indoor space.

  • Exclusive use:  As a public State Park, the location remains open to the public with the areas being occupied or shot in remaining exclusive to the renter for the duration of the production day. The only day that the Park is closed to the public is Tuesdays. Exclusivity requests will be considered for an additional fee.
