On Sunday, July 14th, Four Freedoms Park Conservancy held a fun sketching meet up with dozens of local artists at FDR Four Freedoms State Park! The meet-up was led by renowned artist and architect Hugo Barros Costa, who is retracing Park architect Louis Kahn's travels from decades ago, developing sketches in the very same spots that Kahn found inspiration for some of his most celebrated works. Mr. Costa displayed some of his sketches, discussed his work and love of sketching, and provided participants with tips on how to capture the urban scenery through drawing. Ultimately, the event was a huge success! The Park was full of smiling faces and creativity.
