Recap: 2019 Kite Flight for Peace & Human Rights

On September 28th, 2019, in recognition of the United Nations General Assembly and International Peace Day, visitors designed and flew kites that represented their personal ideas about peace and freedom. More than 3,000 people visited the Park to fly kites, write messages of gratitude to veterans, and share their visions of freedom. Check out photos from the event below (more to come!), and make sure to share your #thisismyfreedom photos on Instagram and tag @4freedomspark.
