We recently translated the excerpt from FDR's Four Freedoms speech that is hand-engraved in the Park's "Room" into nine languages: French, Spanish, Italian, Chinese, Russian, Portuguese, Japanese, German, and Arabic.
On October 15, 2014, students, parents, and friends gathered at Franklin D. Roosevelt Four Freedoms Park to watch four short films, which were shot, edited, and produced by Legacy High School students. The 11th and 12th graders, students at the Roosevelt Island-based special education school, developed the documentary-style films during a five-week residency this summer.
