Last Friday we held a wreath laying ceremony to honor the President on the 68th anniversary of his death. Ambassador William J. vanden Heuvel and Mrs. Franklin D. Roosevelt, Jr. layed a wreath in front of President Roosevelt's bust. The wreath was constructed of flowers that included the President's favorite color, blue. Four Honor Guards marched down the forecourt and lined the entrance to the Room. The rainy morning made the ceremony that much more memorable.
