Forty Years Ago Louis I. Kahn Passes

Forty years ago, today, one of the greatest architects of the 20th century passed at age 73.

To honor Louis Kahn, a bouquet of hyacinths, calla lillies and ranunculuses has been placed at his name at the west embankment. We hope you make it out to the Park today to celebrate the life and work of this great architect.

And be sure to share your photos with us! Tag @4freedomspark on Twitter and/or Instagram to celebrate this man and his amazing design.
